Maroon 5 and The Hives

As much as I like planning things, another part of me enjoys doing things at the spur of the moment. About a month ago, Parker and I were scoping the area to see what we could do for my birthday. I I considered seeing a concert (since I LOVE LIVE MUSIC), but I didn’t want to settle just yet. When I was listening to the radio and heard there were still tickets available for Maroon 5, I told Parker, and he found a girl on craiglist who had 1st sections seats for only $25. October 21st was our 6 month anniversary and what great way to celebrate it----SOLD!!

I have to admit Parker and I did a lot of prep for the show. I had extra money left on my B&N card so I got their CD and played it while we were in the car, cooking, and relaxing together. I think I did a little overkill with song #2, “The Reason.” We didn’t go as far as getting t-shirts, but we could have done the equally as cool (MAKING YOUR OWN!!!)

The Hives opened for Maroon 5 and they were so much fun. They really got us pumped. We had such a great time together, singing, yelling, taking silly pictures, and doing a little bit of goofy dancing. These past 6 months with Parker have been great. I’m so looking forward to the family finally meeting him. He’s quite the sweetheart!!!
