Today was a great day!! Parker and I cooked up a storm for our parents; we love to cook together. We started at 11:30 and continued through the afternoon. I made my first roasted turkey and it was soooo juicy. The menu I have to say was pretty extensive... pear and walnut salad with cranberry vinaigrette (homemade), steamed veggies, homemade stuffing, candied yams, onion roasted potatoes, and homemade cranberry sauce. Parker's parents also came bearing many desserts and a cake for Barry and dad's bday (they are 5 days apart and both turning the big 60 this year!!) So now I'm stuffed but so thankful for all the great things in my life this year...great boyfriend, good job, new friends, old friends, new apt. Well Happy Thanksgiving and happy crazy shopping if you so chose so tomorrow!!
