Yesterday was my first college football game (besides the crappy ones at WCU). Parker, me, and our friends Todd and Becky headed to Titletown, USA (aka Gainesville) for a Saturday afternoon of Gators college football. I have never seen anything so incredibly insane. A sea of blue and orange in the stadium, that by the way Parker said sits 92,000 people!!! i saw people all painted up, girls wearing gator backpacks and dresses, and guys wearing gator heads. I even joined in the dramatic gator chomping when the opponent had the ball. UF fans sure love their gators. UF ended up winning 49 to 22 against Vanderbilt. I'm so glad I got the chance to see what the big hipe was all about. Now I know why Parker loves his Gators...consider me a fan too!!
