I'm 60...sixty years old (an SNL aside)

With Yom Haatzma'ut coming up, Tampa celebrated Israeli Independence day as it always does in a big way. The festivities were held at Al Lopez Park. They had games, Israeli singers and dancers, food, and of course tons of art and jewlery booths. Parker and I volunteered with YAD (Young Adult Division of the Federation) to help get new faces... we are going to a Rays baseball game next month on Father's Day...that will be my first baseball game. Parker and I also manned the dunking booth...this sure made the kids go crazy!! Of course Chabad was there and Parker got to put on teffilin (sorry no pics, wasn't sure if it would have been tacky). Here are a few pics from the festivities. I wish I had taken pics of last night- Parker and I went with my friend from work to Channelside. I even got Parker to dance again (all it takes is a little coaxing and guilt:) We had a great time as well. The Fla lotto was there selling lotto tickets and giving away scratch offs. After almost having my ear blasted from the loud speaker, I figured it wasn't work it. Next week is our trip... so this is my last post before vacation. Talk to you when Parker and I get back!!!
