What a day... Parker and I are masters in the kitchen. I'm a little possessive of my kitchen...things have to be made exactly made my way. I know it drives Parker a little crazy but he deals with it well. First we made veggie kugel...why didn't we buy already grated veggies or better yet use Parker's processor...because that would be WAY too easy. Next onto the pineapple kugel and apple cake. Parker and I decided to take a stab at his grandma Moosie's tzimmes. We had to make a pit stop to Target to get a pot that was big enough to fit all the ingredients. We're 5 people on the second night and we cooked for two nights and of course there is always left overs. Lucky us, we clogged the kitchen sink (we'd tried plunging the heck out of it) and had a big pile of dirty dishes. Great!! So I was dumping dirty water down the toilet and out in the grass and cleaning pots and pans in the bathroom. Yuck... so my sink is still clogged but I have maintenance coming out tomorrow to try their luck with it. Besides cooking, we also went to a friend going away party. The kitties are doing well...they are so sweet. I let them roam in the kitchen and living room while I'm there and they are in the bathroom in the daytime. They are a ball of energy!
