So the title of my post is not original, I saw it on a lady's shirt at the mall. Yesterday, Parker and I went to the Shops at Wiregrass to join a mass candle lighting for Chanukah put on by Chabad. We enjoyed latkes, dreidles, singing, and live entertainment. We also played dreidle. Speaking of dreidles, if you look below, you will notice a nice glass dreidle that I got that from one of my coworkers. Notice the letter on it looks like a lamed. But wait...there is no lamed on a dreidle!!! Actually, there are only 2 letters on the dreidle that are even recognizable, the other two, well I think they just made up. I have come to the conclusion that my dreidle was made by a goy who probably didn't have the slightest clue. That kinda gave me a chuckle... I was off from work today since I worked the weekend, so I made oatmeal cinnamon chip and chocolate chip cookies from scratch for my coworkers. Then I took a little stroll and lit the menorah. I also bought a food processor the other day and decided to give that a whirl tonight. I fried up some latkes which were delicious :) Happy Chanukah! :)
