Sarah and Dina came this weekend for a short but action packed weekend. When they arrived on Saturday it was raining so hard, but remembering that this is FL, I knew the rain wouldn't last. We took a chance and drove to Clearwater Beach, and I was right, the clouds began to drift away to bring a sunshiny day. After the beach, we went out for Sushi- yum yum!! Then instead of going out, I had a bottle of wine from last birthday (I don't drink wine but apparently it's a popular birthday gift for a 20 something year old) so we popped one open and relaxed at the apartment. The next day I had my volunteer day at Weinberg Village the Assisted Living with the group Chai Impact I'm involved with. We had so many volunteers playing card games, scrabble, Nintendo Wii, rummy, and painting nails with the residents. After that the girls and I made dinner I took them to Bayshore as well as Channelside to show then a good time in the city by the bay.
All in all, a great weekend...thanks Dina and Sarah for coming...it really meant a lot. I can't say I was sad about you leaving but rather thankful we had the chance to get together. :) And I think Frankie enjoyed your company too!!
