Meet the Fockers and Friends

Being back in Tampa is bittersweet...I don't have to live out of my suitcase any more but missing people stinks. This weekend Mitch headed over from OH and me from FL to send four days in NJ for a bit of Meet the Fockers. It didn't quite go down like the movie (which is a definite good thing). He got to meet all my college and high school friends and my family. We picked strawberries, visited the Goldens (the kids I used to babysit for), walked in Thompson Park, had shabbat dinner, went to Saturday services, went down to Point Pleasant to meet up with all my close friends, went to NYC, went to downtown Princeton, and ate at a Kosher deli (first time for Mitch). We jammed so much into such a short time. I think Mitch left having a different perspective on the glorious state of NJ. It's not just the funky smells coming the factories off the GSP- it's so much more!!! He can't wait to visit again. :) :) :)

probably the most beautiful view from Central Park
tons of turtles in the ponds of Central Park
pretty flowers in the park
you'll see the strangest things in Central Park including cross country rollerblading (notice ski like poles)
