It's official Mitch and I are engaged!!!! We still are having a hard time grasping this. I think it finally registered when we met with the rabbi and walked around the shul envisioning our wedding day in 7 1/2 months. I still can't believe after a short period of dating, a period of lost contact, reconnecting on facebook, and the geographical distance between the two of us that we found our way back to each other's lives. I think the man upstairs has something to do with that. I think Mitch would agree as well. I had no idea that 8 months ago when we decided to meet up in Tampa when he was visiting his parents would have turned out like this. I'm incredibly lucky to have found someone as caring, smart, light hearted, hardworking, and passionate about Judaism as him. The story of how the engagement occurred will be on our wedding website which will be up and running soon.
