January marks the
Gasparilla Tampa Pirate Festival and Parade. This year was the 106
th anniversary of the
Gasparilla celebration. I went with Kim, Becky, and Aaron. We had a great time catching beads, eating really unhealthy food, and walking around South Tampa to our little heart's content. Never again will I take a cab to the festivities. Not only did we wait for a cab for 3 hrs going home, but we called them numerous asking where is our ride and they offered no good answer. I don't think they planned well for the volume of people that were at the festival. We finally had to ask a friend to pick us up. Talk about unreliable.
