Visiting Maryland's capital

Sandy Point State Park is the closest beach to Baltimore. As you can see, it overlooks a bridge called the Bay Bridge. It was such a great beach day and the water was so refreshing. I also walked along the beach and discovered a quaint little light house. After having enough of sand and salt, I went to discover the historic side of Maryland's capital, Annapolis. I got to tour the state building, built in the late 1700's and is the oldest still in legislative use. Below you will see the Senate chamber among other rooms. There was also a square dedicated to former Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall. What a quaint town!! I'm loving my time in Maryland.
