Boordy Winery

This past Sunday, we went about 30 minutes from Baltimore to Boordy Winery for a belated gift to Gabby, my sister in law. They had wine tasting, live music, and an indoor shelter to picnic in. I never thought of having a picnic inside but it was actually a lot of fun. Mitch made fresh herbed bread and we brought some cheeses, olives, hummus, sun dried tomatoes, grapes, and chocolates to enjoy with our wine samples. We all shared a bottle of chardonnay as well. We then toured the winery and got to see all the equipment and barrels (quite the operation) while of course indulging in more wine tasting. Here are some pics from our experience.
