Time is flying, much to be done

I'm 34 weeks already...there are times when I feel the time goes by so fast and then so slow.  We got the baby furniture delivered last week which was a big relief.  We enjoyed putting the crib together.  The room finally looks like it's ready for 'lil Weinberg's arrival.  We also got the stroller last week too.  We had a car seat but due to some compatibility issues with the stroller we had to return it.  We should be getting it in 3-5 days.  Let's hope there is no early arrival for that and many other reasons.

The weather is getting nicer. It's still coat weather but definitely not heavy coat, gloves, or hat weather. I started a container garden again with herbs like basil, cilantro, and parsley.  I been having to take them in at night because we are still having lows at times below freezing.  Such is life in the great white north.  Usually the time to start planting in the ground is after May long weekend which is this weekend (I think it's Victoria Day?).

I am still in school and will be be for as long as I can.  People seem to give me weird looks but seriously what am I going to do at home, and besides I want to get as much done before the baby's arrival so there is left to do when I come back to it.  My maternity leave starts July 1st anyway.

While I'm not reading baby books and envisioning how life will change after our newest edition, I am in a book club.  This is my first time doing this and I really enjoy it.  We've read some really great books including The Invisible Thread, And the Mountains Echoed, and The Rosie Project.  These were books that I probably normally wouldn't read but really enjoyed and highly recommend.

the next few cats are ones I've photographed at the Edmonton Humane Society.  This one is a flame point Siamese
I loved the coloring of this one.  She's a muted tortie
