Happy Birthday Parker and the USA too!

Finally the partying is over....from Erica's 4th of July party on Davis Island to, BBQing at Kims on Saturday , and today Parker's bday.
On the 4th, we headed to Davis Island to catch a glipse of the fireworks at Channelside. They were great but I have to say my favorite July 4ths are still at Thompson Park. We had sparklers which I haven't done in years. In keeping with my summer good luck, my friend wasn't watching where he was throwing his arm around and made a nice long burn going down my arm with a sparkler. It's not so bad, but I decided to not let him live it down. We even watched our friends set off their own fireworks. I gladly watched from a far, since I figured if I got burnt with a sparkler it may not be save to play with something a little deadlier.

Saturday we went to Kim's to do some good ol fashion BBQing. I was content with my pizza and mango margarita. Today was Parker's bday and party. We had about 25 people over my apartment. I already gave him his presents. I got him a bracelet and took him out for sushi a few days ago and of course went the Rays game a few weeks back. I also baked him a cake and designed it with a Florida Gator. He didn't know I have cake decorating skills. I'm full of suprises I tell him. Happy Birthday Parker :)
