A Not So Rainy Day at the Aquarium
Almost certain we would get rain from Hurricane Gustave, we decided to not head down to Siesta Key and Sarasota and plan for a indoor rainy day activity on Labor Day. It was quite the opposite, sunny and absolutely beautiful outside. Parker and I spend the day at Channelside and the Florida Aquarium in Tampa with our friends Evan and Melissa. Parker had never been to the aquarium, and I had gone there when my parents visited for the first time back in 2006. Parker was in for quite a treat. We saw owls, gators, tons of fish, rays, sea horses and my favorite, penguins. I got to get up close with the African penguins- they are just too cute. We stayed an extra couple hours just to see them.
