NYE 2013

This was the first year Mitch and I celebrated NYE in any place other than the Eastern Time Zone (well actually I'm not sure what time zone we were in when we cruised to Honduras and Guatemala that one year).  We stayed at home and had a quiet evening to ourselves.  I made channa masala (an Indian dish) and I got a bottle of white wine to celebrate.  It felt very strange to see the ball drop and have to wait another two hours to make it official.  They had some shows in Niagara Falls and Calgary on the Canadian stations.  It's nice to know we're not moving anywhere in 2013-  2012 had one move for me and 2011 had two.  I'm excited to see what this year bring for us.  I do believe in New Years Resolutions but as a dietitian who has counseled clients on weight loss, a goal must be measurable and detailed.  I know exactly how I will reach my goals I set this year.  I hope all who are reading this had a great celebration and life brings you nothing by good things in 2013.  Below is a picture of us all at midnight.
