My Birthday (a bit belated)

I forgot to post some pics of my bday weekend in Red Deer, AB- Mitch surprised me with a nice getaway.  We stayed at a really nice B&B. This was our second B&B experience and we absolutely loved it.  Warm and cozy like home.  It had just snowed so the snow looked so beautiful along the trails we walked.  We also went to a local theater production of Alice Through the Looking Glass.

they call this snowshoeing...apparently much easier than walking with boots through snow like we did

probably one of the cooler things I've seen in a long time- a coffee shop on a double decker British style bus.  1st floor was kitchen and serving area and the 2nd floor they gutted the bus chairs and added restaurant style tables.  We loved this place.  Great food, coffee, hot chocolate and ambiance.
