Today was the coldest day so far this season...i think the high was -20C and low -29 C. There is a wind chill warning which will make it feel like -40C. Oh the joys of living here! :) I stayed and worked from home today. I did try the throw bowling water in the air trick and it partly worked. When it fully works there should be no water that falls to the ground, it should disappear like a puff of smoke or like someone throwing snow into the air. I haven't read the phenomenon behind this but nevertheless it was pretty fun. Probably the highlight of my day thus far. We are going to Kabbalat Shabbat tonight at our shul and with weather like this I might just wear pants...would you wear a skirt when it's that cold out and have to walk to the bus stop and then catch a train? Don't judge!
