Hey Jersey!

Visiting NJ wrapped up the last leg of our trip.  Mitch left a week earlier than me which meant I'd be flying with Ian home by myself.  It was definitely challenging but again he was on his best behavior (except his decision to poop himself a few minutes before boarding).  Lucky had had plenty of extra clothes and no one seem to care or notice me changing him in the waiting area.  Definitely was not going to haul to the bathroom- too far and too many things to carry.  The biggest challenge was the amount of luggage I had to schlep, not having a changing table on one of the legs of the flights, and having no one to hold him when I had to use the bathroom.  We got lucky on our flight from Edmonton to Chicago that we had no one sitting next to us so I could spread out and put him down.

Ian got to meet a lot of new people in our lives including Mitch's childhood friend Becky and her infant son Benzi, my friend Dina and her infant son Luke, my friends Tracy and Kelly, all of his Finkel cousins, and my sister's friend Elyce and her girls Delayna and Sadie.  We had a birthday party for my dad's birthday which was very nice.  Big thanks to all who came and Sarah for thinking to bring the Lego's which kept the kids occupied for hours. What a life saver!   Ian got to spend a lot of quality time with Aunt Lori who adores him.  She even made him a new winter hat (can't get enough of those).

It was great to spend time with family and friends.  Leaving is always bittersweet but with Skype and Viber you all don't feel that far away.  Until next time...we had so much fun!  NYC next time :)

These two were great together.  My mom def knows how to make babies giggle and smile
