So many new things have occurred with Ian since the new year... he has two teeth, he can sit on his own, he smiles and pets Miss Frankie, he is more chatty and is making consonance sounds, and he's doing very well with eating food. We use spices and try to expose him to a wide variety of foods. He loves pretty much every food but eggs. We'll have to try those again soon.
Mitch and I also finally found a babysitter (other than our friends who have been nice enough to watch him). We went to a jazz club the other weekend. I was very strange to now be in the mom role instead of the babysitter. This weekend we're going out again but this time our babysitter will be putting him to sleep. I hope all goes well.
