Catching Up On Summer

How ironic that on the first day of fall, I finally post about summer (well, at least it was the first day when I started writing).  With so many guests, vacation, and school work, I was really behind in the photo editing department. These are just some of the highlights: Ian's 1st birthday, visits from parent's on both sides and Lori, couple getaway Glacier National Park in MT, friend trip with Sarah to San Francisco, visit from The Deitschs, visit from my college friend Kelly, and visit from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Sheldon.

Ian's has changed so much this summer...he went from being completely immobile on his first birthday to butt scooting which started in early July to now being able to pull up all by himself within the last week.  He's even said a few works like key, car, kitty cat, and hi.  Our tall boy is 31.5", 24# and has 11 teeth!  He is such a joy to be around- my favorite thing is to play peekaboo with him behind the couch.  He laughs so hard and you just can't help but to laugh too.  He also loves high fives so when you see him next, don't forget to give it to him up top!!

I'm getting closer to finishing my Master's degree. I started writing my thesis this summer and have already completed three chapters (woohoo go me!).  The goal is to be done by the end of this calendar year.  It can't come soon enough!!

Mitch is doing well too...nothing too exciting.  He continues to bake artisan style breads so if you come visit, you will have that to look forward too (besides seeing us of course :)).

Here are some pics from the summer.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy taking them and editing them.
