Kitty Photography at EHS

I have been volunteering one day a week at the Edmonton Humane Society (EHS).  I take pictures of 8-10 cats/day that are up for adoption.  EHS has their profiles on the website so people can look at them before they visit.  We try to get the best pictures we can to increase the likelihood of adoption. Once we are done taking pictures for the day, we edit them and load them onto the website.  I have really enjoyed playing with the cats/kittens, and it's always a challenge for some of them to stay still. They just want to play, nuzzle you, and sniff out my camera.  Here are some of my favorites.
this was my favorite little girl Liz Lemmon- I think she got adopted that day because when I checked the website she was gone

this is Lucky- he loved posing in his shelter
this is Talladega (I didn't come up with these names)

this is Ashby, he was so hard to pose b/c he always wanted to come closer as I was shooting.

this is Caramel, a ragdoll
